An arm wrestle between my friend Jasmin and myself is captured, a collision between friendly competition and a tense battle. It looked like Jasmin would win because she was using the force of her arm, whereas I was inevitably going to lose. After all, I was only using the strength in the fingers of my right hand. The idea that “I Let You Win” is said in jest is simply accepting a lost battle in a friendly way. However, speculating about how the duel will end is what this artwork presents, a hypothetical without success or failure, instead forever in a state of suspension.
